Ice Cream in the City - Garden Creamery

Garden Creamery - Queue bw
Mijo and I stumbled upon this delightful little ice cream place in San Francisco's Mission District called Garden Creamery.

It not only serve ice creams with tropical flavors, we also liked the laid back vibe, the location and the friendly service.

Mijo and I were walking back to the car after our delicious meal at Ethiopian Cafe when we saw Garden Creamery. After our very savory and spicy dinner, we were suddenly felt this craving for something sweet.

Their menu is easy to follow but the choices were plenty thus making it difficult to choose. Their ice creams and sorbets have tropical inspired flavors such as banana and lilikoi, mango and sticky rice, saffron, and more. The good thing is they let you taste them first.

I decided to try their Mango and sticky rice and banana and lilikoi. The pairing was good. The flavors brought back memories of my trips to Hawaii. It is amazing how flavors have that effect on me.

Mijo decided to try their guava and paired it with banana and lilikoi. I tried his ice cream and it was also good.

We sat by the window facing 20th St. I love the neighborhood where this creamery is located. Parking maybe a nightmare there but we got lucky.

There was no queue when we got there. However, there was a rush by the time we finished our treats. The service was super friendly too.
