Since we like this brand and blend, we decided to get a big bag from Costco. This coffee is great as a drip and also as espresso and taste so good with our breakfast, dessert and snacks.
We've had this coffee before and we like it. We always go back to this blend whenever we don't have time to visit a local coffee roaster or try a new brand and blend of coffee. This month, we took the easy route and picked up a big bag of Peet's Major Dickason's Blend at Costco.
We got the 32oz bag so this should last us in the next two months.
Like before, the aroma of coffee fills the house as soon as the bag is opened.
I like to checkout the beans and admire the shiny oily pieces.
The aroma escapes even more after grinding and during the drip process.
First, I made cafe latte. One with real milk and the other with almond milk. The coffee went well with both. And then paired the lattes with our breakfast bagel.
We also paired the drip coffee with a homemade Belgian waffle after breakfast.
For our snacks, we also made drip coffee and paired it with goodies from a local bakery La Boulange - clockwise Passion fruit tart, Napoleon and Coffee Cake.
We also paired it with a slice of Banana Creme pie from Mission Pie.
