A couple of months ago, Mijo and I went to Landmark Vineyards to wine taste. This week, we opened one of the bottles of Pinot Noir that we bought during our wine tasting there.
This wine is delicious and it paired well with our meals.
I remember, we bought two bottles of Pinot Noir during our wine tasting at Landmark Vineyards. Both Pinot Noirs were from small production lots and both were very good. This week, we opened one of them to pair with our home made and store bought meals.
We first paired it with Mijo's home cooked beef stew. This wine went very well with this meal. The flavors of meat and herbs brought out the fruit flavors of this wine.
After two days, we paired the wine with some store bought veggies, hard cheeses and spicy chicken wings. The pairing was superb! The veggies and cheeses brought out the earthy flavors of the wine.
Here are my notes.
