For this week, while Mijo is on a trip abroad, I got creative and decided to try a couple of new coffee blends. My first in the list was called Baridi Blend by Peet's Coffee.
I've been told that this coffee is made for cold brewing but I love it brewed hot. This medium roast coffee is flavorful.
Thanks to my friend D, for her excellent choice in which play to see. We saw a Harold Pinter classic The Birthday Party at the A.C.T.
If you want a good play and solve some mystery, watch this one. Very well acted, as well.
I met up with my friend D for a light lunch before going to see a Harold Pinter classic The Happy Birthday at the A.C.T.
We decided to go to Waystone just because we've never been there and it is within close walking distance from A.C.T. We got lucky because the place serves good food and drinks and the service is super friendly.
The Legion of Honor is currently running the Klimt & Rodin exhibition and I was lucky enough to get tickets to this enormously popular event.
Klimt and Rodin are two of the more popular artists whose works of arts I enjoy and I feel thankful to have seen this exhibition while it is in San Francisco.
Whenever we are in the neighborhood, we always try to drop by Caffe Trieste hoping that it won't be too crowded.
We walked by it after our tasty dinner at Sotto Mare and we found an available table and decided to stay. It is one of our favorite cafes in North Beach.
The cold winter weather has Mijo and I craving for something soupy and tasty. This craving had us searching for a place that serves cioppino.
We found one and it is a good one. Sotto Mare whets our cioppino appetite and we've been back again and maybe more visits there in the future.
My good friend from high school Lizz and her hubby Rieks were in town from Singapore. They are both wine enthusiasts so we thought of taking them to Napa Valley for a tour.
We decided to go to the more popular destinations in Napa Valley for their introduction to California wines. Beringer Vineyards did not disappoint.
