Shop in the City - Kiehl's

Kiehl's Oil Free MoisturizerI rarely blog about my shopping experiences but this one is worth mentioning because Brian of Kiehl's was absolutely helpful...

I went to their store inside the San Francisco Center yesterday because I ran out of face moisturizers. To give you a background, I have a combination of oily and sensitive skin and because of my rosacea my skin tends to get flaky after each breakout. Kiehl's Facial Fuel The season is changing too so this means my skin might breakout any time now.

I've been using their fragrance-free Kiehl's Sodium PCA 'Oil-free' moisturizer in the last three years and I went to the store with the thought of trying something new.  Brian was there to answer all my questions and we sampled at least five other moisturizers as he explained the differences in their oil levels.

He recommended their men's Facial Fuel with SPF15. I told him that he gave me samples of their men's Facial Fuel before (the one without the SPF) and it worked well on my skin and it doesn't leave my face feeling greasy at all. It Kiehl's freebiessmells good too. He also explained that aside from the vitamins and minerals included in the moisturizer, it is enriched with chestnut extract and caffeine to truly invigorate the skin. I am also running out of shower gel for use at the gym but that's for next time.

Brian did give me samples of their shower gel Cross Terrain Refueling wash and fragrance-free body lotion Creme de Corps. Thanks, Brian!

Kiehl's
My visits to this store is like a field trip because of the different creams, emulsions and solutions for  healthy skin living that I never knew existed. Thank God Brian is there to save the day!

Kiehl's is located on the 1st level of the San Francisco Center on Market and Fifth Sts.
